I've switched Journal Interfaces because Blogger.com makes it much easier to upload pictures and has a better interface. So, from now on anyone can access my blogs at:

ebacherdom.blogspot.com

Check my profile, I have several different blogs with different types of information and writings!

Peace and Love,

Okay.

Here’s the thing: I’m tired of educating the masses.

I’m tired of it always having to be my job to help the little people think through something that I find to be patently obvious. I’m weary of having to convince and educate people about what is in their own best interests. I’m tired of the fact that people can’t think for themselves, and have to be told what to do. I’m tired of the fact that when people don’t think for themselves – they tend to listen to the wrong sorts of people (republicans, their parents, their pastors). I’m tired of the fact that more people are religious extremists than scientists – meaning that there are more people engaged in actively ignoring and perverting the truth of yesterday than uncovering the new truth’s of tomorrow.

I’m tired of people attempting to curtail the rights of others (homo’s and abortion). I’m worried that the American people don’t find it disturbing that half of the entire world (who hate us, BTW) thinks that we are a bunch of backward hicks voting with our bibles instead of our minds while the other half don’t think we have minds at all. I’m tired of spending more on war than on education. I’m tired of the fact that putting someone in Jail costs as much as sending them, year for year, to an Ivy Leauge College.

I’m sickened that the only rationale people I know can all agree on ideas like Truth, Rights, Ethics, Autonomy, Privacy, whereas all of the irrational people I know don’t know what these words mean beyond what they are told.

Here’s a question: do you think for yourself? Answer: If you voted for Bush: No

But really, what I’m most tired of: being tired at all.

I know that America is now the land of the average and the home of the religious zealot.
I know that more people understand john4:20 than the second law of thermodynamics
I know that More Americans care about one unborn fetus than an entire old-growth rainforest
I know that one day, I will be forced to choose whether or not a religious American lives or dies – and...
I know that in my conscience, I will have to let them die: because the world is a better place without one more unthinking consumer.
I know that one day soon the earth is going to come back and show every non-environmentalist exactly why I was fighting to conserve the earth. And,
I know that when that day comes, it will be too late to do anything but sit back and pray.

Without those who go to church, without those who read their bibles, without those who seek to curtail and restrict the rights of others, without those unthinking masses of believers, without those fundamentalist Christians and right wing, mentally questionable, morally dispicable creationists, we would be so much better off, as a country, a species, and a world.

Without those who pray: there would be no need to. It is praying, rather than acting, which causes the need to pray in the first place. Prayer is to happiness as masturbation is to pregnancy.

And as it is Sunday: Have fun Jacking off, all you parishoners. I hope you’re happy with the destruction your bush is wreaking on the world.

... and since you’re the ones who believe in it, I hope you all go to hell. But it is more likely, I lament, that all of you who believe in hell are going to succeed in bringing hell straight here to all of us.

I’m so tired of hating you. Can’t you just burst into flames, or become your own country (I’ll fight to let you seccede this time). Or at least stop breeding, to level the playing field a little?

You’re hurting America...

Fuck it, Nobody cares anymore.

Hello Visitor!

I've decided to go Friends-Only, more as a precaution than anything else.

I'll probably always have my most recent entry or two posted (in case somebody isn't logged in) but no promises.

Otherwise, please visit my website (linked at top) and send me an email (archaea at starplace dot com)

Peace and Love!
